The full General Sleep range is available on our website and we have a selection of stockists internationally and in New Zealand - stockist details can be found on our stockists page.
Our sleepwear is hand made in India with locally sourced organic fabric from the same region.
Our socks are proudly produced in New Zealand.
At General Sleep, our garments are made using nothing but premium quality, GOTS certified fabrics.
We work exclusively with natural fibres, such as cotton, linen and silk. Our ‘Core Range’ garments are made from hand-woven fabric, produced by artisan weavers in Southern India. Our seasonal colourways are made from 100% organic cotton that is grown, spun and woven in the same region.
Our pyjamas are designed to be lived in, and will continue to soften with time.
To best care for your General Sleep garments, we recommend a gentle/delicate cold machine wash or a handwash in cold water, with a gentle soap. No matter how you wash them, we recommend a line dry.
Any imperfections such as slubs or differences in texture are to be expected – and celebrated – as part of your garment’s character.

Our model wears a size S in all online imagery.
The Everyone Robe, Everyone Trouser and Everyone Shirt are unisex styles – we suggest sizing up for males and sizing down from your usual size for females.
If your order is a gift, we will happily include a note for the lucky recipient - there is the option to do this at checkout.
All orders are wrapped in tissue and we don’t include an invoice or packing slip with the order.
Yes we do - our gift cards come in four denominations: $50, $100, $200, and $500. They are delivered via email, and include instructions on how to redeem at checkout. You can print the email yourself, or forward it on to your special someone.
Please note: You will receive one gift card to the total value of your order. Online gift certificates are unable to be physically mailed to the recipient.

We use the Shopify Payments gateway to process online orders, which accepts all major credit cards. We also offer After-Pay and Lay-Buy as payment options.
Our website allows you to shop in NZD, AUD, USD and GBP. At the bottom of our home page you will find a currency converter to select the currency that you’d like to shop in.
All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand.

Yes you will receive an email from us when your order is on its way. This will contain a tracking number and tracking link that you can click on to view the tracking process.
International orders will receive a DHL tracking link and NZ orders via Courier Post.
For orders outside of New Zealand, there may be duties and taxes that are payable upon your order arriving in your country.
Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and are unable to estimate the amount your order will incur. For additional information, please contact your local customs office.
For Australia, orders with a value over $1000 AUD will be liable for duties and taxes.
