Our Fabrics

Our garments are crafted from nothing but the best: organic brushed cottons and gentle cotton-linens, developed and woven by Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified manufacturers. As well as this, all of our cotton is certified by Fairtrade, who work tirelessly to empower farmers by obtaining best market prices, and covering costs for sustainable and environmentally sound practices.

To top it all off, the natural make-up of our fabrics means that they are biodegradable – so, at the end of their long and happy life, they can relax and return to the earth.

Organic Cotton Poplin

Our signature lightweight 100% organic cloud cotton is hand-woven by artisans in India, as part of our longstanding core collection. Crisp, fresh and lightweight, this cotton poplin gets better with every wear. Designed for sleep-ins, slow days, and sunny corner-shop strolls.

Brushed Organic Cotton

Made from our cosiest brushed 100% organic cotton. Lightly brushed on one side for added insulation, this mid-weight cotton is warm, soft and beautifully gentle. Designed for sleep-ins, Sundays and cosy fireside nights.

Organic Cotton/Linen Blend

Our organic cotton and linen blend is hand-woven by artisans in India. Included in both our Core, and seasonal collections, it is known for its softness, and durability. This blend is a trans-seasonal staple and gets better with every wear. Designed for hot days, cool nights and everything in-between.

Perino

Our beautiful bed socks are woven from 65% Fine Merino, 25% Brushtail Possum Down, 10% Mulberry Silk and are made right here in New Zealand. Brushtail Possum Down is a natural fibre which is both sustainable, and biodegradable. The fibres are warm, soft, and durable and when woven with Merino and Silk, create garments that are light, warm, and so soft.
