Shipping & Delivery
General Sleep provides worldwide shipping. If your country is not listed when checking out please email us at hello@generalsleepstore and we can assist you.
All items are sent from Hamilton, New Zealand. Please allow a processing period of 1-3 days before dispatch. Tracking details will be emailed once your order has been collected by our courier company.
A signature on delivery is required to make sure you receive your General Sleep purchase safe and sound. If you are out, a collection card will be left, and your parcel will be taken to the courier company’s depot. Redelivery/collection is the responsibility of the recipient and General Sleep will not take responsibility for items left.
- Any additional fees incurred due to delivery refusal or multiple failed attempts are your responsibility.
- We do not post to PO Box address.
- Once an order has been sent, we are unable to make any changes to it.
- The delivery timeframes listed below are a guide and General Sleep will not be held responsible for longer delivery times.

International Customs Duties and Taxes:
All orders are shipped from New Zealand. For orders placed outside of New Zealand, there may be duties and taxes that are payable upon your order arriving in your country. These fees are the purchasers’ responsibility to pay. Unfortunately, General Sleep has no control over these charges and we are unable to estimate the amount your order will incur, nor the time that it might take to process through customs. For additional information, please contact your local customs office.
For Australia, orders with a value over $1000 AUD will be liable for duties and taxes.
