All General Sleep garments are handmade with care and attention to detail.  We hope that you love your new General Sleep purchase.  If for any reason, you are not completely happy, we are able to provide you with a refund if your item meets the following requirements:

  • Refunds are offered on full priced items purchased online from
  • Items must be returned to us within 14 days from your delivery date. 
  • Garments must be unworn and unwashed with original tags intact.
  • Only items purchased from are eligible for return.  Items purchased from our stockists must be returned to the store from which they were purchased.
  • Items purchased on sale are not eligible to be returned so please choose carefully.
  • All returns are processed at the discretion of General Sleep.


To request a return, and to receive a returns form, please contact with your order number and product details.

Once your refund is processed, the original payment method will be refunded in full for the value of the item(s) returned, excluding shipping costs.  A notification email will be sent after the return is processed and the refund will take 1-3 business days to appear in your account.  Please note:

  • items need to be returned at the recipient’s expense.  We recommend a tracked courier service as we cannot take responsibility if your return gets lost on its way back.
  • General Sleep does not refund shipping, duties, or taxes paid on items that are returned.


Product Faults:

We apologise if your General Sleep item has been delivered damaged or faulty, or has been sent to you incorrectly.   Please contact us at so that we can rectify the situation for you quickly.  Please note:

  • items that have been damaged as a result of incorrect garment care or general wear are not considered to be faulty.



We are unable to offer exchanges for online purchases for different items.  If you would like a different size/style/colour to replace an item that you have purchased from please follow the returns procedure above.  We will refund the order value (excluding shipping) to you once we have received and processed your return.  Please purchase the required replacement item online as a new order which will be sent to you on the next available courier service.
