Vianca Soleil is the personification of slow living. Leaving behind her fast-paced life in Dubai, Vianca relocated to remote Puro Island in the Philippines to open her eco-resort ‘Unna’. Visually reminiscent of a time gone by, Puro Island is uniquely untouched, geographically tucked away from modern civilization, and a place that fosters a simple, intentional way of living. Like General Sleep, Vianca works closely with local craftspeople to create her nature-focused resort, Unna.
There is a cologne I have worn for 4 years that makes me feel warm. I first smelt it on a man I met when I was 18. We have spent many days together and he’s someone I have a special connection with. He wore this cologne everyday, so now I wear it everyday as well. It reminds me of late night cuddles in bed, resting my head on his shoulders or behind held by him with my face on his chest.
I'm going through a bit of a textile phase, and have acquired a few family quilts for our beds and James' cot. I love the stories attached to each of these, I even have Matt's baby quilt that his Grandmother made him.
... when he is gentle it is not a slack soft gentle; it is gentle down to the muscle down to the bone, a kindness held very carefully, and it is so rare, maybe just a few seconds in the dark before he falls asleep, and I don’t want to miss it.
